In the midst of any winter blizzard you don't have to compromise your sense of style or sexiness, just to stay warm. Who says that the latest wintery layering look is not the new Eskimo?
Recently, while I was preparing to go outside to play in the snow with my family, I began choosing my pieces for a layered look. For those that are not quite sure what I am referring to when I say layering, it is wearing clothing in a way of adding multiple garments that are worn on top of each other.
I suggest starting off with a basic solid or basic stripe shirt, something that is light weight. Secondly, you can add a cardigan, vest, or sweater; by adding the "layers" believe it or not, it will add a new dimension to your look. For example, if you skipped out on your weekend laundry duties, or if you are in a rush to step out - there are always the dressy layering techniques. You would be surprised what adding a navy, black, camel or even my favorite olive green sleeveless vest, cape, or coat can do to your outfit. You can dress it up with a boot, or simply dress down with a flat.
Remember, just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't play around with color as well. The topping on the cake will be a stylish scarf while accessorizing your look with jewelry. Of course, we all know that you can never go wrong when adding a sleek and sexy heel.
Don't allow Jack Frost to make you hide that fabulous figure under the outdated and not so -fashionable wintry clothing! Stay warm, but better yet stay hot!!
